Briana Kreibich, Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant Project Director

Briana Kreibich currently works at the Arizona Governor’s Office for Children, Youth and Families Division for Substance Abuse Policy as the Project Director for the Strategic Prevention Framework -State Inventive Grant. Her job includes the policy analysis and implementation of statewide substance abuse prevention strategies for Arizona’s youth and adults. Briana works in conjunction with members of the Arizona Substance Abuse Partnership, the single statewide coordinating body for substance abuse prevention, treatment and law enforcement to develop data driven policy initiatives. She serves as a liaison between the Governor’s Office, State Executive Branch agencies, federal agencies, and tribal communities to enhance inter-agency collaboration.

Briana’s previous experience includes implementation of Arizona’s Methamphetamine Initiative. The multi-phased initiative provides funding to community coalitions to support the development and implementation of evidence-based prevention strategies. On a statewide level, the initiative implemented action-oriented recommendations to eradicate methamphetamine use in Arizona and build safe and healthy communities. Briana also worked as a Research Assistant at Arizona State University for Caregiver Health and Wellness Projects. Briana holds a B.A. in Psychology from Arizona State University with an emphasis in women studies and child development. She is an affiliate member of the American Psychological Association.
